Through five years of mentoring preschool children at BGS National public School Bengaluru I have learnt that giving subtle directions to children’s thought process and emotions can help them develop effective psychological coping mechanisms which are key for overcoming insecurities and develop a strong personality and an empathetic human being. With a firm believer of Swami Vivekananda’s idea that “education is the manifestation of the perfection already in man” I have always cherished the thought that child is like a sapling that needs to be nurtured and allowed to evolve physically and mentally as a unique individual rather than to be meddled.To be able to guide a child through many facets of life like providing emotional security, fostering affectionate interpersonal relationship, encouraging leadership, appreciating innovation, giving confidence, developing patriotism, instilling moral values, giving proper directions to thoughts, minimizing negative behavior, enhancing independent behavior, improving narration, identifying cognitive deficits, recognizing cognitive strengths, help improve art, skills, music & sports, minimizing dependence on gadgets would be my priority.By being a parenting partner our efforts will be to help the parents to focus on a child’s positive strengths, minimize punitive reinforcement and maximize child’s ability to develop independence and confidence through regular interactions and counselling. Footprints preschool is a wonderful preschool that helps your kid in learning as well as inculcating so many good behaviours. Teachers are so good here, and are like a second mother to your kid. I have never felt unsafe for my kid here.

It is a pretty new preschool in Arekere. Heard from the neighbours that Footprints provide meals and cctv access to watch kids throughout their stay which is really good and tension free for the mothers like us who are busy working.

my child had shown remarkable improvement in his social skills within 2 months of him joining Footprints Vasundhara Enclave. He has a routine now which we were unable to maintain at home. He has friends he plays with and is quite fond of coloring and has already started tracing lines before he joined a formal school.
