RUCHIKA CHOPRA SETHI
When I narrated a lion – mouse story to my 4 years old son(who is 10 years old now) in which the mouse saved a lion’s life in return of his favour, my son shared another story with me the on next day (that he created) of how a swarm of honeybees saved the life of a flower from getting plucked by a Gardner by creating a batch of bees around the flower and the Gardner ran away!
If one story telling encourages a child to create another story, if one answer to a child’s query leads to another query – we are definitely on the right track!
I am proud to be associated with Foot prints recognizing their passion for children’s mental, social and physical development (through active participatory learning) and at the same time being very focussed towards parents’ concern for safety, security , food , a healthy and productive environment !
I endeavour to channelize my nine years of corporate experience and my unstoppable yearning to be part of children’s learning and development to create an exciting, encouraging learning place!!
